Short answer

Export Services India links every rule, deadline, form and rate to an official source at the point it is used. Pages show the date they were published, last modified and checked. Content is written in neutral, plain English, and reported errors are corrected with the page's modified date updated.

Which sources does the editorial team rely on?

Rules and numbers come from primary sources only. Each claim links to the most specific official page available.

  • Regulators: Reserve Bank of India circulars, Master Directions and FAQs, and FEMA regulations.
  • Tax: The GST portal, CBIC notifications and circulars, and the Income Tax Department.
  • Trade: The Directorate General of Foreign Trade for IEC, e-BRC and export schemes.
  • Platforms: Each platform's own pricing and help pages. A competitor's description of another platform is never used.
  • Rates: A live XE mid-market rate, with European Central Bank reference rates as the fallback, as described on the methodology page.

How are pages written?

  • Answer first: Each section opens with a direct answer to its heading.
  • Neutral tone: Plain English, without promotional language.
  • Tables: Comparisons are shown in tables rather than prose.
  • Unverified facts: A fact that cannot be confirmed on an official page is left out or marked as not confirmed.

How are platforms chosen and ordered?

The editorial team chooses which payment platforms the site covers, so comparisons do not include every provider in the market. Every list and table of platforms, including the profiles on alternatives articles, is ordered by the INR you receive. No platform is placed by hand.

How often is content reviewed?

  • Dates: Every page shows its published date, last modified date and, where it quotes fees or rates, the date they were checked.
  • Rule changes: Pages are reviewed when a cited regulator or tax authority changes the rule they describe.
  • Rates: Exchange rates refresh automatically and always show their reference date.

How are errors corrected?

Report an error by email to editorial@exportservicesindia.com, or through the contact page, with a link to the source. Confirmed corrections are published on the page and its last modified date is updated.

Who verifies the content?

Content is researched and checked by the Export Services India editorial team against the sources linked on each page. Tax and legal topics are general information and should be confirmed with a chartered accountant for your own situation.
